A BROKEN VIEW

Our planet’s landscapes are vast, spectacular, and resilient. Yet, their beauty and balance are increasingly fractured by extreme environmental changes. One powerful metaphor for this precarious state can be found in the image of a broken seascape reflected within shattered glass—a striking, symbolic representation of our fragmented relationship with the environment and the impact of climate change. Broken glass, an object synonymous with fragility, destruction, and sharp edges, serves as a poignant canvas for reflecting nature’s essence in pieces. The purpose of my images is to serve as a metaphor for the ecological damage inflicted by human hands.
